On September 25th and 26th at FICO a unique concert of flavours awaits you, with over 50 DOP and IGP specialties: two days of market-review, tastings and events on DOP and IGP specialties, to know and taste the excellences of Italian and European food and wine.

The sweet Peperone di Pontecorvo, which triumphs in the ciociara cuisine, the Ciauscolo Marchigiano, the fresh and soft sausage to spread, the Lenticchia di Castelluccio di Norcia, very small and fragrant, the Zafferano dell'Aquila, brought in the area according to legend by Ponzio Pilato...

Italy is in fact the European country with the largest number of agri-food products with designation of origin and protected geographical indication recognized by the European Union, demonstrating the high quality of our products, but above all the strong link between Italian food excellences and their territories of origin.
The event is organized by and in the Park to be enjoyed in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture of the Emilia-Romagna Region and FICO Foundation.

The second edition of a festival in which products and traditions are told to enhance the richness of our peninsula.
  • Consortia and individual producers will offer the public free tastings and sale of certified products. A unique opportunity to discover the local specialties and the variety of products that make us proud to be Italian.
  • In the factories of FICO you can also watch live production of DOP certified products (and not only), and listen to the stories and anecdotes most curious directly from those who deal with the art of the creation of cheeses, bread, pasta and sauces, beer, oil, cold cuts.
  • The factories will enchant visitors thanks to multimedia shows with animated projections that will come to life on the windows, telling how the food arrives on our tables in a fun and immediate for anyone.
